The Curious George’s Town app encourages kids to earn and collect gold coins through playing mini games which contain valuable educational content and concepts, including number, letter and shape recognition, as well as animal caring and environmental protection, etc. Kids can use the “money” to buy lots of cool, interactive items in the Town Store to create their very own virtual town for Curious George! A carnival or a dinosaur theme park, it all depends on your little ones 🙂
This Curious George app, which was developed and published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, a worldwide known educational publisher, is doubtless brilliantly designed! In order to have enough gold coins to buy items to build Curious George’s Town, your kids need to either complete the fun challenges included in the app or gain additional virtual reward coins by accomplishing real-life tasks outlined by YOU in the Parents’ section, ie. eating more vegetables and fruit, brush teeth, or helping with chores. I LOVE the idea; it’s an effective way to help kids get important concepts like saving, planning and goal setting, letting young kids know that strategic planning and careful spending are essential to achieve any goal!
